Aperçu du projet
Le renouvellement (« repowering ») des éoliennes a pour objet d’optimiser la production en énergie renouvelable du parc de Dour-Quiévrain-Hensies en remplaçant les éoliennes actuelles par de nouvelles éoliennes plus performantes. Ceci permet une réduction du nombre d’éoliennes de 18 à 12 éoliennes. Avec une capacité totale attendue entre 72 et 86,4 MW, le repowering du parc permettra de plus que doubler sa capacité actuelle tout en diminuant le nombre d’éoliennes en opération. Ce projet est porté par Ventis, en partenariat avec ENGIE Electrabel et les Moulins du Haut Pays (un partenariat entre les communes de Dour et Quiévrain et une coopérative citoyenne) et répond directement aux objectifs de la politique européenne, nationale et régionale de réduction des émissions de gaz à effet de serre.

Dour - Quiévrain - Hensies
Le parc de Dour-Quévrain, mis en service en mars 2009, se compose de 5 éoliennes d’une puissance unitaire de 2 MW. En décembre 2016, 2 éoliennes supplémentaires d’une puissance unitaire de 2,35 MW ont été construites en extension du parc existant.
Frameries – Mons
Le projet de Frameries-Mons se compose de 6 éoliennes le long du R5 sur les communes de Frameries et de Mons. Le parc est actuellement en développement via un partenariat entre ENGIE Electrabel, ENECO et Luminus.

Sabic inaugurates world's largest circular solar installation of its kind in Genk
In the presence of the mayor of Genk Wim Dries, SABIC today officially inaugurated the world's largest solar installation using fully recyclable materials at his site in Genk. The innovative solar panels from Dutch manufacturer Solarge are 100% recyclable and significantly lighter than traditional solar panels. ENGIE was responsible of the installation and financing.
