Our ambition towards 2045
The energy transition requires a profound transformation of the energy system. To support this evolution, ENGIE Belgium is developing its activities in a number of areas, including renewable power generation, flexibility solutions, and services that help our customers use energy more efficiently.
At the same time, we continue to pursue our ambition of achieving carbon neutrality by 2045 and are implementing measures to reduce emissions associated with our operations and value chain, while contributing to a reliable and affordable energy supply.
Together with our employees, partners and stakeholders, we are helping to support the evolution of Belgium's energy system.

My colleagues and I develop and construct onshore wind farms.
After graduation I really wanted to work in the renewable energy sector. It's very interesting, but also very topical as wind power plays a pivotal role in the energy transition.
The energy transition requires concrete action. That is why, through its #ENERGIZE2030 strategy, ENGIE invests in renewable electricity and flexible capacity while pursuing its ambition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045 at the latest.
