The ENGIE Foundation gives wings to young people

The ENGIE Foundation's priority is the support of numerous projects and associations that promote the integration of children and young people through sports, culture or education. Every year, it accompanies and supports projects that have an impact on tens of thousands of children in Brussels, Wallonia and Flanders.

Launched in 2010 in France and in 2013 in Belgium, the ENGIE Foundation promotes the integration of children and youth through sport, education and culture. In Belgium 101 projects and 95 000 children have already benefited from its support in the 3 regions of the country.

Each year, through a call for projects, the ENGIE Foundation supports associations. However, this support is not only financial. ENGIE also makes its expertise and that of its 17,000 employees available to associations. A free energy audit, help in organising a press conference, contact with other patrons... The help can also be material (loan of equipment, free tickets for shows, events, museums, etc.).

The ENGIE Foundation is an integral part of ENGIE's corporate social responsibility policy.

Who can submit a dossier to the Foundation ENGIE?

Every Belgian association that calls for the integration of children and youngsters through education, sports and active culture. The project for which support is applied, has to be rolled out in Belgium. It is one of the 8 selection criteria for projects that want to be supported by the Foundation ENGIE.

Who selects these projects?

The Selection Committee meets once or twice a year. This committee consists of employees of the Group ENGIE and external people from civil society.

Is the support limited in time?

The partnership lasts for a year. After those 12 months, it is evaluated and if possible, extended.
